West Rockhill Township

West Rockhill Township is on the western border of Upper Bucks County adjacent to East Rockhill Township and south of Milford Township. Early settlers were German farmers. Ridge Valley, Almont, Derstine, and Naceville are historic villages in West Rockhill. The many rocks and boulders found in this part of the county supply natural building material for many local structures. The Township includes part of the Great Swamp, and is still largely a rural area.

Grand View Hospital, the first hospital in Bucks County when it was founded in 1913, is a 250 bed community hospital providing a full range of healthcare services to the surrounding communities. This modern facility is conveniently located along Route 309 in the eastern part of the Township near Sellersville.
