New Britain Borough

New Britain Borough started as a colonial village at the crossroads of what is now U.S. Route 202 and Almshouse Road. The Borough was formed as a separate municipality when it split off from the township bearing the same name in 1928. Pine Run Covered Bridge, built in 1842, is just at the border of the Borough, and is adjacent to Covered Bridge Park.
