Morrisville Borough

Along the Delaware River in Lower Bucks County, the community of Morrisville Borough lies between two larger neighbors, Falls Township to the south and Lower Makefield Township to the north. Morrisville is the site of Greystones, the historic site marking William Penn's first Pennsylvania land purchase from the Lenni Lenape Indians, and Summerseat, the National Historic Landmark that was once the home of Robert Morris, financier of the American Revolution. It is traversed by U.S. Route 1 as it heads north to Trenton, NJ.
