Hilltown Township

Hilltown Township is situated along the western border of Central Bucks County, north of New Britain Township. Route 113 traverses the township, passing through Silverdale Borough.

Nobel and Pulitzer prize winning author and activist Pearl S. Buck made her home in Hilltown Township. Her property, now a National Historic Landmark, is one mile west of Dublin Borough, and today is the home of Pearl S. Buck International, a non-sectarian humanitarian assistance organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children worldwide. Guided tours through the mansion are available, visitors can also browse the International Gift Shop.
