East Rockhill Township lies along Route 113 in the northern part of Central Bucks County. Along with neighboring West Rockhill Township, it was once part of Rockhill, the largest township in the county, until the split in 1890 that formed the present boundaries. The western end of Nockamixon State Park juts into the township along Route 563, and it is here that Weisel Youth Hostel, operated by the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation, can be found along the Tohickon Creek. Mood's Covered Bridge, which spans the Perkiomen Creek on Blooming Glen Road, was totally reconstructed in 1997, and Sheard's Mill Covered Bridge is also located in the township on Covered Bridge Road.
